Well, this isn't really a support fourm, and I'm certainly not a support counselor so let me find that little sign that says "For entertainment purposes only" and hang it on the bottom of the message.
But I've found that for me the best way to deal with things is to secure all the loose belongings, hang onto a very steady object and just push through the eye of the storm. I know, lots of cliche's all in one spot there.
But basically what it boils down it is that there are bright and dark times in everyone's life. And anyone that tells you otherwise either has not lived very long yet, or has severe amnesia. But the tough times define who you are when you come out on the other side, and yes you always do come out on the other side.
The important part here is to not let the dark times define you. Dwelling on them serves no one any purpose. Learn from them, but don't dwell. Just look forward and concentrate on the next step you need to take to bring yourself where you want to be. And if you're not sure where that is, then perhaps the first goal should be to decide what you really want and where you want to be.
One thing I've learned in project management. When you look at the big picture you can see where you want to be, but the task of getting there becomes so daunting that it becomes insurmountable. And that in itself can become yet another obstacle that prevents you from making the right choices.
Rather than look at the big picture and trying to figure out how to navigate the maze of choices. How about simply looking at it to figure out the direction you want to be moving. And then stop looking at the big picture, but rather look at where you are right now. Look at your choices, look at your options, and then pick the best choices for you right now that end up moving you in the right direction.
I know you were probably looking for more of a psychic answer. But I personally think the person who can best decide what you need to be doing, is you yourself.
And once again, I direct you to the sign hanging at the bottom that says
"For entertainment purposes only."
