That's a good point--will have to check to see if what they'd have is food grade and not sprayed with some preservative but thanks, I will have to look.

It might be worth trying a craft or fabric shop oddly, they sometimes keep them for people making drawer freshener bags and things - just a thought :)

Always love when an old topic gets kicked up. Like a little time capsule. And it sounds like I could really use some lavender tea. I was looking for dried lavender flowers for spell work about a month ago but couldn't find any. Might have to order them :/

Thanks guys! Now I've gotta run out and get me some Jasmine tea, cause I've got a craving!

I wonder what we'd get if we mix it with a mai tai and we're not driving.

LAVENDER TEA

Lavender is considered to be a mild sedative and antispasmodic (soothes muscle contractions). Lavender oil is used as an aromatic therapy that helps to treat sleep issues, anxiety, restlessness and nervousness. It also helps to relieve headaches and ease upset stomachs.
You can also apply the tea to topically heal cuts, wounds and sores.

Note: Some may experience a rash when using the oil applied purely to the skin. If this occurs, you may want to blend the oil with another such as baby oil to still keep the benefits of the Lavender without having a skin irritation.

JASMINE TEA

Fights bacteria and viruses that can cause illnesses such as influenza.
Stops the growth of bad bacteria and strengthens good bacteria.
Boosts the immune system.
Lowers blood pressure.
Lowers the risk of developing cancer, and can help in the prevention of heart attacks.

Note: If your physician tells you not to consume caffeine, I would suggest you discuss using this tea with your doctor before consumption.

CHAMOMILE TEA

Wonderful remedy for sleep issues such as insomnia
Helps to ease anxiety and panic attacks
Aids in relieving nausea and vomiting.

Note: If you are using medications such as Aspirin, Warfarin or other blood thinners, consult use with your doctor first as Chamomile may increase the risk of bleeding or enhance the effects of the medication. If you have ragweed allergies, use this tea cautiously as skin rashes and bronchial constrictions may occur. Do not drink this tea if you are taking sedative medications or drinking alcohol. Do not give small children this tea as anaphylactic shock symptoms could be experienced.
