thank you crystalcross, that was actually my first evp :blush:
I will look into the settings but I haven't seen anything like that on the device, I am in the market for a better digital recorder

If its the Memorex recorder model that I'm thinking it is, you may want to consider changing the settings to use the least compression mode. It may reduce the number of hours worth of audio you can record, but the benefits will far outweigh the costs. The record quality will be very good in that mode.

Nice EVP though!

I have been up to this tree/house three times and someones equipment in the group always has some kind of problem while we are there then when we leave it's fine. Just thought that was odd.

@crystalcross
It was recorded on a memorex digital recorder, and no cell was in the car and there was no electric. the house was built way before that. No computer either was at the oak tree that is in the pictures I posted.

@tdslib, the answer you hear after the question of what she was going to name... was my brother in-laws camera shutter. I thought I heard girl, but that is up for interpretation lol who knows?

I have a few questions. The quality of sound is a bit muted and distorted. I'm wondering what you're using to record this? I also hear some patterns of oscillation that ramps from high frequency to lower. This almost almost sounds digital in nature, were you near a cell phone or computer while you were recording this?

Any details would be appreciated.

I hear one after she asked the name and cannot make it out after she ask do you know if it was a boy or a girl I think I hear Boy but then again there is a lot of back ground noise and I hear that same "voice" a couple time through out that area so not sure if it is anything or just noise
