Good Afternoon Everyone,
While I've been off the grid for a lot of my time lately, I'm still following via twit messages, etc. I have a girl and her 3 month old that are living with me right now after she was kicked out of her mother's house (not a stable environment anyway) and also dealing with a more than a PIA spirit on top of day to day life. In addition to all this, I have seen the back doctor who took xrays, sent me for an MRI and is confirmed that not only do I have spinal issues in the lumbar area that are impinging my nerves, but also have a stress fracture in my lower back....thus all the pain I've been dealing with. The back specialist is taking good care of me and we have a game plan of treatment so I am positive and yet relieved that we know the reason for all the pain now.
I am slowly going to try and catch up on the various posts made in the forum. Thank you to all who have responded regarding my "resident" spirit. As for him, I am smudging each night and that seems to be helping some. It is a situation that will most likely be an ongoing process for a while. And my biggest concern is for the safety of the baby - who seems to be getting picked on at the bed time hours at night. Gratefully no physical injuries but I, as well as others have noticed a misty type fog that comes around the baby in the evening - either waking the baby up or startling him. I have the baby sleeping in my room which now in his crib which has eased some of the activity but nonetheless, we are watching to see if this spirit is curious about the baby or if there is some form of a paternal type of behavior happening. For instance, I was in bed two nights ago and was shaken awake by "nobody" visibly but just before the baby woke up fully into a cry for a diaper change. It does seem though that the baby can "see" him or sense him more often than others can: however, that is a commonality amongst babies and small children as their abilities are so much stronger at those ages.
I'm also thrilled to see so many new members to the community here. Welcome to all who are new and I look forward to finding time to get in here to get to know you all better.
Have a wonderful day everyone!!!
