Hi Beasy! I've just followed you back on Twitter. We're not too far apart. 50 miles or so. I live near the Cheddar Gorge. Maybe someday we can meet up and go have a look around at some places.

Hello again everyone and thanks for the warm welcome. Kirlybab - you guys look like you have some amazing places too! I did some googling about TALA yesterday after I'd seen lots of postings about it and wondered what/where it was. The photo of the place instantly blew me away - such a beautiful and astonishing looking building and the history just makes me feel so bad for the poor people who must have suffered there. I'm really looking forward to reading more on this site. Not enough hours in the day!

I found the forum today from my Twitter account. I use the name HauntedSomerset. I am currently living in Somerset, England although I am originally from the exotic location of Illinois  I moved here 4 years ago with my British husband.

The old buildings here are AMAZING!! I currently live in a 400 year old cottage that is pretty cool, but not creepy at all. My husband gets scared when I'm not home but that's mostly because he likes watching Asian Horror Films.

I love visiting and researching haunted historical places and will add lots of photos and video.

Beasy wrote: Hello everyone,
I found you guys through Twitter and you looked like an interesting group to join. Hope you don't mind I'm from England. I've been interested in the paranormal from a very early age but only in the past few years became actively involved in investigations when I joined a local group. We've investigated some fab places and plenty more to come! Hope to share the experiences with you if you'd be interested. My one New Year's resolution is to maintain a proper diary of all the stuff we get up to. The little details get forgotten along the way. I've started to realise every little detail is important. We dismiss so many things as 'just a coincidence' but I really believe now there's no such thing. Everything happens for a reason.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

Welcome Beasy. We're glad to see someone from the UK. Who knows, we may end up having an international Ghost & Haunts family reunion. Some of us will be traveling abroad for this work I'm sure. The UK is on our list.

Welcome again.
