Let me know if I'm focusing on the wrong area. But the area which I see marked as needing more detail seems to have a gravestone, and some flowers or plants under it. There really was not much other detail hidden in the shadows.

I've increased the brightness and contrast of just the area marked.

It looks to me like a person sitting on the ground against the tree.
