I was thinking eim, How would you feel about using your abilities in helping the police find missing children and adults. This would be for the good, and would make you feel like it's not such bad thing after all. There are many people who love your help in such matters.

Yes. You can close your self to the abilities you have. Like any talent, if not used, the talent will be wasted and forgotten. Learn to use your abilities for when needed. It is a long process to learn how to sharpen your abilities.
