I'm sure that I won't be the only one who gives you this reply: 'smokes what'? LoL! But seriously, I believe that it does matter whether the person who reports experiences (not sure about photos) believes in the paranormal and EXPECTS proof of it. There have been studies done about this.

This picture was taken at the scene of a car accident that claimed the life of a young man. This picture was supposedly taken by the wife of the driver of the tow truck. We have been trying to find out if it's for real or if someone got a hold of the pic and edited it in some way. What are your thoughts??
