I see these shoes walking down a hallway into a public restroom. A Kmart store? I feel as if these shoes, along with other items, have been purchased to keep the child quiet and to stop fear and crying. I see a child holding hands with a woman being led into a public restroom. The child is looking at the floor as he walks, he sees the shoes and is interested in the flecks of color on the light colored commercial linoleum flooring. The store is not busy, very few customers. Maybe close to closing hours.
