Gently At Twilight is a new column by Leslie Valentin that covers just about everything having to do with the paranormal.  Topics covered are drawn from personal experiences, years of experience in the paranormal investigative field, questions that are posed by others; and also what may pop into the brain. Regardless of where the topic idea comes from, you won't feel like you've jumped into a hole and emerging to find the Queen of Hearts screaming "Off with their heads" while you read.
Not everyone here at Ghostsnhaunts.com knows me, so please allow me to introduce myself to you now.  My name is Leslie Valentin.  I'm pushing 43 years of age; and yes, I wore very thick shoes as a child since the Earth was still cooling.  In addition to being a mother of three who are now 21, 20 and 18; I am also an Empath, Sensitive, and a Paranormal Investigator with over 28 years of investigative experience in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas covering public places as well as private residences.

As a Sensitive and Empath, I draw on the aspects and abilities of  clairaudience "clear hearing", clairsentient "clear feeling", clairvoyance "clear seeing", and claircognizance "clear knowing"; to assist in potentially haunted locations as well as other situations.  Like many Sensitives and Empaths, the gift came to me from my Great-Grandmother.  Being empathetic allows me to feel true emotions in people as well as with spirits and energies. Empathy is not bound by space and time. All in all with both sides, I've had these abilities since I can remember back as a very small child. As a child, I was often scared of what I saw or heard. I began studying it as a teenager partly because at that point, I was convinced I had a curse.  However, it wasn't until I was thirty years old when I learned the geneaological line of who passed these abilities onto me.

So now I present to you my new column, "Gently At Twilight".  If there is a topic you would like to see covered, feel free to let me know. I bring to it insight and draw from personal perspective and experience to different subjects to help enlighten and bring understanding and some answers.

Every story has an end. In life, for every ending, there is a new beginning.
