Light Factory was created by Grupo Alpha

After saying goodbye to Brihuega and while trying to locate any military buildings, we noticed an abandoned building located on the right bank of the river Tajuña. Since we did not have full belief that we could find the original target, we explored the same if we could find something of interest. It was an abandoned power plant. Later we learn that this small center was known as the "central Raso" named after the surname of the charge of maintenance. The small power station was built in 1935 in order to power the farm of Santa Clara, spacious grounds for recreation and original farm in 1918 which today has turned into a "New Vrajamandala," the retreat of the Hare Krishna . We certainly have an example of those known as "factories of light", the name by which he baptized the first power stations intended solely to provide lighting and were built using the facilities usually of old mills. In the early days, was charged by the number of bulbs installed per household, which led to the mother of invention so that there were many houses that have electricity, drill holes through the slab to allow it to rise and down a light bulb through it. In addition, it was common to give only lighting in the evening. These "light manufacturing" facilities were extremely poor and were conditioned by the reduction of river flow, so usually because of the drought were not enough capacity to generate electricity and supply failed.

Especially surprised to see that we have kept the tubes (two in this case, with a jump of approximately 15 meters) where the water had to rush to the "powerhouse", but this disappeared accumulators and alternators, but remain in the soil marks indicating where they should be located the same.

The plant had three plants, and possibly should be built according to the criteria of the time, this is lower level, sump water for output, intermediate plant turbines, alternators and control systems and superior plant manager's house. Of course we visited the building conformed to that structure, as you can see from the photo shoot done. We note that had a strange feeling of discomfort in the pit entrance to the lower floor must be noted that after practicing a temperature taking saw that there was a significant difference between that and the adjoining room. (22.8 degrees versus 16.6, you can see in the picture obtained). We decided to get a record here with a curious result EVP "go-here". From there we proceeded to get snapshots of the tower, climbed to the top floor and finally through the forest, we descended to the lower level where we get a new record EVP "out-why? - It looks good," to return ascending the stairs metal of dubious consistency (an exercise of faith to climb it). The visit had been interesting, but the best was yet to come.

GO!!...ARE HERE (VETE, ESTÁN AQUÍ)

BECAUSE IT OUT...LOOK GOOD (SALIR...PORQUE...LO VE BIEN)

good friends, as always I apologize for my English and for the EVP remember that they are in Spanish, so the phonetic hearken not correspond to the literal translation that accompanies the article. I have also put the text in Spanish so you can interpret it better. I hope you like it. Hugs to all from Spain
