I think it's a hair or thread. Based on the shape, it makes the most sense. It's just VERY close to the lens.

I rarely ever get anything but dust and water spots in the air, and this one really has me stumped, I'd say dust or bug if it didn't seem to span across a 14' room in 1/8th a second. if the consistency of it was even from end to end I'd say dust particle, and it was in a dark room with exception of the flash.. I usually go with my first guess, any experienced investigators, again I'm not an orb person.

maybe a hair or lint? I took it on Thursday, it was 39 degrees outside, and 56 in the house, there was a lot of dust in the house, did see a lot of erratic dust via night vision..

Right, I'm just saying it resembles the other picture. And I live in Massachusetts and was bitten by a mosquito a few weeks ago so it's not out of the realm of possibilities

yeah, definitely not a bug, thought it was maybe dust I got it on a few photos in a few different rooms, and its the end of feb and just above freezing, so not thinking bugs. I just took it with my cell phone.

we only got a few evps and cabinets opening and closing.

Looks like something CC described in another post, a bug captured at a very low shutter speed.
